  • Dragonwind, you're right that Sully got luck no one was injured, but he took a safer gamble. He knew that there were less people in boats on the water than people on the ground at the airport or around the airport if he hadn't made it back. AND he did not feel he could safely make it back.

  • This definitely reflects a poor decision. I can't understand why the pilot would make such a poor decision. I hope that he is punished. As a San Diego resident, I know that area (since I live about a mile from the crash) and landing on Coronado seems like the obvious safe choice.

  • Since they got $50,000 it seems like this is a good program to encourage parents to stop expecting free stuff. The age of the entitlement generation must end or we will ruin our nation.

  • I think it's fine and I have no problem with the free lunch program. It seems like you were actually willing to think rationally about the situation and how best to improve/manage your finances.

  • I liked the teleflora one because I didn't see it coming and it showed genuine creativity. It didn't offend me b/c I'd be happy if my guy ever sent me flowers! LOL I wouldn't be worried about how they're packaged.

  • Exactly. No one talks about how it will be for these kids. Even if she does have enough money to pay for them, she can't give them the proper love and attention. My boyfriend's father is one of 12 that were spread out in years w/ no fertility help, and yet they all seem to dislike each other.

  • I love the 8th one was a surprise. I guess at that point what difference does one more make. I do think that as technology improves, doctors should implant less fertilized eggs to ensure that stuff like this can't happen.
